Major Pitch Within WWE/USA Network Could Have Title Implications

Fightful reported that day that WWE had interest and had discussed bringing Kross back. We've also heard of a specific pitch within creative and one of the reasons for it. Among the pitches we've learned is that Kross would be inserted into the Drew McIntyre-Roman Reigns feud and be involved in a match for one of Roman Reigns' world titles, as opposed to both.
Fightful had also been informed that USA Network wanted a top title featured on WWE Raw more often, as Roman Reigns is rarely seen on their show since winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. One USA Network pitch was to even have an interim title, though we're not sure that was ever seriously considered by WWE.
As with anything, plans can change, and we haven't heard that this is set in stone.

Drew pinning Kross at Clash at the Castle to win the Smackdown Title is what they're going to do which makes no sense. Kross' first shot at a main event and they're going to beat him. Such a Vince move. Drew needs to pin or submit Roman to make it worth something. Drew deserves a title run in front of fans.

2022-08-06 21:11:14 +0000 UTCI wish they can keep them unified. I love the idea. They just need Drew to win them at Clash at the Castle. It is simple. USA jas every right to be mad because Roman is never on Raw but I never like the idea of having them unified and only having one on the line. Roman gets pinned amd only gives up one title makes no sense. That makes as much sense like having champion contender matches where someone beats the champ just to be able to fight the same person for the title.
