I've been thinking on the possibility of Artal being married and having a kid. Living a nice flat with his family, or just being the kind of roughed man that lives in an old rusty attic.
What I know for sure is that he gets out during night a lot for all the vampire hunter thing and maybe because he likes to take part on clandestine boxing. (Bc who doesn't love a good scene of shirtless men punching each other's face?)
The family thingy is just to add a bit more angst, like Artal having to choose between his family and Senda, or just feeling guilty for engaging in sexual acts with the vampire lady. Keeping in mind that that time it was very usual for men to not love their wife bc it was an arranged marriage and all that stuff. But maybe in the end he gets to love his wife a bit....
And also, I see the marriage thing quite possible bc he needs an heir to keep on the vampire hunter business.
At the same time I'm thinking a bit about Senda, I kinda imagine her being quite pushy with him bc she loves making him blush, nervous, and horny. If he ever says no she would just stop. But I was always thinking that she is a vampire so technically her body is dead and might not have sexual instincts as an alive human. But what if Artal makes her FEEL that way again after centuries of not feeling anything between her legs?
And this is a bit why I still haven't started drawing NSFW from them...
