Morton confrimed to us that he was briefly under an NWA contract, but now he's appeared on a per-appearance basis. This is why he was able to work for Major League Wrestling recently, along with his father. Despite enjoying the work he's doing in NWA, he's technically a free agent.
He spoke of how much happier he is with NIL deals, because there were issues with him possibly wrestling for money while a college cheerleader before a couple of years ago.
Kerry says that he wants his dad to wrestle until he doesn't want to anymore, and says he's still doing it in a safe way. Robert Gibson, however, is nearing the end of his time.
