Two NXT talent are scheduled for a dark match before Smackdown

Fightful Select has learned that as of 6 PM EST, Wes Lee and Sanga were slated for the dark match to open up WWE Smackdown.
Wes Lee has never appeared on a WWE main roster show or a dark match for the brand, but wrestled for IMPACT for a number of years before moving over to NXT. The 37-year old Sanga is the former Saurav, who teamed with Veer in the Indus Sher team. He was taken off television in 2020 after spoiling Keith Lee's NXT title win on social media by posting a photo of the celebration. At one point, NXT coach Matt Bloom was very high on Sanga, who had been working with Grayson Waller of late before they split.
