Fightful Select spoke to Court Bauer ahead of their show in Philadelphia.

He spoke frankly about locking their top stars into long term deals -- Hammerstone, Alicia Atout, Mads Krugger, Richard Holliday and Jacob Fatu. He admitted the old MLW contract were like "swiss cheese," which is why there were so many departures and unique situations. As they've grown and been able to pay, and solidify their contracts to a point that they're comfortable with. Bauer said they've got a 90 percent success rate in renewal attempts. They don't take a cut of talent's indie bookings and stay completely separate of that.

Bauer confirmed they were in advanced talks in a new broadcast deal but couldn't expand.

We asked Bauer how Enzo Amore has been to work with and says that Enzo is over with his locker room and production team, has been great to deal with and meshes well with their team.

Bauer says they have a contingency page to change things from the long term booking they have planned if an unforeseen circumstance arises. He said that they can't have complete stability like back in 2019, and wants to make sure they're prepared even if the backup plan isn't always ideal.

Bauer gave us the first look at the MLW Featherweight Title for their upcoming women's division, which will actually have multiple weight divisions like they do with the men. He indicated that in the future, MLW could also do a middleweight division. The championship itself was designed by Wildcat Belts, has feathers, diamonds, the goddess of war and the MLW logo featured.

Bauer put over Dave Prazak for overseeing the women's division and said that he's a visionary in women's wrestling. He'd like to get Cathy Corino, also known as Allison Danger, involved but hasn't had any conversations with her yet. Eventually the endgame is an all-women's TV show and they think it's possible.
