IMPACT Wrestling return set imminently

Fightful has learned that former IMPACT World Champion Sami Callihan is set to return to action soon, as soon as this weekend's set of Under Siege tapings. Callihan has been sidelined since last fall with an injury and was scheduled to be out until mid-2022. Those that we spoke to say he's factored into IMPACT's Slammiversary plans and is scheduled to face another former World Champion.
There were "hit list" teasers at IMPACT Rebellion with code that spelled out "Sami," hinting at the upcoming return. During Callihan's injury absence, he's leaned heavily into promoting his Pro Wrestling Revolver shows.
