Fightful was contacted by several readers who indicated they'd seen a post on Instagram indicating that Dakota Kai's name would be changed to "Clarice Riverz" and Indi Hartwell's would be changed to "Indiana Hallow," both of which we quickly confirmed weren't true. There are several name changes coming to WWE, but it's in specific circumstances.
WWE has gone back to almost exclusively using their own created names, as opposed to real names or ones established on the independent circuit. Dakota Kai (formerly Evie) is trademarked and created by WWE. Indi Hartwell did use her name before WWE, but we haven't heard of it being changed as of yet.
