A top free agent has been speaking with AEW/ROH

Fightful has learned that there have been assets produced indicating that Jonathan Gresham will be working under the Tony Khan umbrella. That being said, we aren't sure if that's for All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor, or a combination of the two. Considering he holds the original ROH World Title belt, it would be safe to assume that he's working some dates for them. Gresham was backstage at AEW Dynamite on February 23 all the way up in Bridgeport, CT, when he ran his Terminus 2 show in Atlanta the next day.
Gresham told Fightful last year that he wanted to see things through and be loyal to Ring of Honor until he couldn't anymore. He was given his release papers the week after ROH Final Battle.
Tony Khan told media after AEW Revolution that he'd continue the ROH wrestling operations.
“ROH has an amazing history, and I plan to respect it. I want to keep it alive, that’s one of the reasons (Sinclair Broadcast Group) were excited to work with me. Joe Koff and others told me that respecting legacy was important to them, and that’s why they were so happy to see it end this way. One thing I plan to do is bring in a bunch of young wrestlers, and they already have a bunch of them. I think we’re very successful here, and I plan to continue doing very well with it, bringing in wrestlers who can work in both ROH and AEW – eventually.”
We've also learned that at one time the tentative plan was to have the Jonathan Gresham vs. Bandido ROH Title unification match at Supercard of Honor, though that hasn't been confirmed or announced.
