Flip Gordon-AEW Update

Fightful spoke with several within All Elite Wrestling about Flip Gordon's presence backstage at recent AEW Dynamite tapings. Gordon appeared on an episode of Being The Elite, where he participated in a recurring bit with Young Bucks, Adam Cole and others. He told numerous people backstage that as of then, he'd not signed with AEW.
Gordon was a regular on BTE until the end of 2018 when AEW started. He was still contracted to Ring of Honor, then signed a multi-year extension in the Spring of 2020. Though many of the ROH deals expired in January, there are still some that extend through March, so all of the roster hasn't hit free agency as of yet. However, the company has given blessings to pursue outside interest to numerous talent.
We haven't heard an update on if Flip Gordon will sign, but it was said that he seemed to get along well backstage.

Ehh, even if he didn't have idiotic beliefs, I'd prefer to not see him. He offers nothing AEW doesn't already have and he isn't very good.
