Confirmation on released wrestler working for WWE Creative

PWInsider reported on Monday night that the former Rockstar Spud, Drake Maverick has been with WWE for the last several weeks working for the WWE Raw creative team. Fightful Select has since confirmed this news.
Maverick was released by WWE last year, last wrestling on the November 8 episode of WWE Raw. We're told he actually started on the WWE creative team even before his non-compete clause was up from his release. Maverick is said to have been well liked across the multiple brands he's appeared on.
