Tons more Royal Rumble notes

Fightful has learned that there was interest from WWE in bringing in Lana for the Royal Rumble. She's not been spotted in town. We also haven't heard reports of Asuka or Kairi Sane being seen, though all have been discussed internally. Shane McMahon was out and about Friday evening, and has helped produce Royal Rumble matches in the past. Bad Bunny was headed to St. Louis early Saturday for his participation in the show.

There were rehearsals late in the week, and alternates are on hand in case someone can't compete. Jillian Hall is an unadvertised name that was present at rehearsals. There are also talent from the Jackass film that were brought in for the show.

Sarah Logan was in town by Thursday afternoon, but her husband Erik was scheduled for the Smackdown dark match main event. Smackdown talent for the most part didn't arrive til Friday night. Several producers, including Molly Holly and Shane Helms, were already on the scene by Friday afternoon. Fit Finlay is in town, and has a wealth of experience producing women's and Royal Rumble matches. As mentioned, TJ Wilson hasn't been listed internally on producer lists the last couple of weeks.

There was discussion of no pre-show matches being added at one point, as late as this week.
