Johnny Gargano update

While he was trending on Twitter today, Gargano didn't appear on AEW Dynamite Beach Break in his hometown of Cleveland. AEW hadn't teased the possibility of a debut whatsoever, though some fans expected it to happen regardless. We're told that Gargano has had contact with some people in AEW, but we haven't heard if there have been formal conversations or negotiations about coming in. Either way, we're told that Johnny Gargano had made it clear to anyone inquiring about his services that as of now he's taking time off to help out with Candice LeRae's pregnancy in any way he can, as their child is due any day.
We'll keep you up to date on Gargano's status and anything we hear.

It was the perfect moment for him to debut from a fans perspective (first hometown show, not long after his WWE deal expires) but it wasn't the right time for him in his real-life situation, and that's fine and completely understandable. I think he's still likely heading there if the tweet he sent out is anything to go by (promising to 'make it up' to the fans who chanted for him) but he's got more important steps in life to take and he didn't hide that from anybody, he made it clear on live TV.
