Update On Several MLW Contract, Including One Departure
Added 2021-12-22 18:56:07 +0000 UTCFightful has checked in on some of the multi-year deals that were signed within wrestling a couple of years back to see if any of them have or are expiring in the near future. In the fall of 2019, Major League Wrestling announced several multi-year contracts, with one being Dominic Garrini of Violence is Forever. We've confirmed that Garrini's deal isn't up, and he'd actually signed a three year deal, meaning he has a year remaining. Garrini had been sidelined from regular action for several months, but worked a "too good to be true" match with Minoru Suzuki in October that he couldn't pass up, among other dates.
Among other talent that signed in fall of 2019 included Gino Medina, who is "still with MLW for at least a bit," and Septimo, who told the company he still needed a few more months to work on his comeback. A name that signed back then that isn't with the company is Zheda Zhang, who we're told has actually been gone for quite some time. She's returned to the ring of late, working Josh Barnett's Bloodsport and a couple of AEW Dark Matches, and was said to have left MLW on good terms.
