RJ City-WWE Digital notes
Added 2021-12-20 22:37:41 +0000 UTCFightful spoke with RJ City, who was scheduled to be a part of the now-canceled Greektown Wrestling show for this week, and he opened up about his work with WWE Digital.
He said that David Arquette insisted he join him on a WWE interview once, which put him back on Digital's radar. He was invited to do several projects, including WrestleMania After Dark. He said he got all the guests he wanted except Chelsea Green and Karen Q because they were off television at one point. He'd also written a complete Summerslam After Dark show that never ended up getting made. As for WrestleMania After Dark, RJ noted he'd written it himself and wasn't given any real notes on what to do.
RJ City had said he was open to doing a weeknight show similar to those, but it didn't end up happening, and he was hoping to pitch some things to Peacock/USA Network. However, most of the people responsible for working with him and helping bring him in to WWE Digital were now gone from the company.
He said Courteney Cox made him a terrible cappuccino, which is very important.
