Update on Brian Cage and AEW
Added 2021-12-05 18:23:27 +0000 UTCFor those asking about Brian Cage's AEW status since he's been out of the ring on-screen, he's still with the company.
We've received more inquiries than usual about the states of certain AEW talent who aren't heavily featured on the show, one of them being Brian Cage following those close to him being outspoken about his use. We're told that Brian Cage was backstage at AEW Dynamite this past week, despite not wrestling on the show.
Cage hasn't had a match on AEW programming since losing the FTW title to Ricky Starks two months ago. He did, however, compete in several matches on the Jericho Cruise, which AEW President Tony Khan has noted were filmed and will be canon in AEW.
