Details on Raquel Gonzalez's recent Smackdown dark match

Former NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez got a look on Smackdown at the end of October, which has become normal for NXT talent these days.

Raquel tells Fightful that the week was an emotional one for her, because she lost a family member. She flew home to see her family and immediately got the call that she'd be needed on Smackdown a couple of days later. She said it was a blessing in disguise because she was able to physically see and check on her family, and then do something she loves. She'd never competed on a Smackdown or main roster show before. A couple of weeks later, she'd get to see that family again, as WWE booked her on the WrestleMania 38 ticket party at AT&T Stadium.

We also spoke with Raquel about NXT 2.0, and she told us she was in favor of the changes that have occurred, and wasn't sure if there'd be a WarGames show or not until she got word she'd be in the match.

NXT WarGames takes place this Sunday, December 5 on Peacock.
