Details on Fred Rosser/Darren Young's NJPW deal, More
Added 2021-12-02 20:10:47 +0000 UTCFred Rosser, the former Darren Young, will be apart of a NJPW presence at LA Comic Con this weekend, and spoke to Fightful to promote it.
Rosser clarified that his deal with NJPW isn't just a Strong deal, but one with NJPW as a whole, and he's hoping to make it to Japan next year. He believes he's still allowed to work NWA dates, but doesn't think they had a spot for him after this Summer. Rosser also mentioned that he made a couple of pitches to AEW a couple of years ago, but were rejected. He'd like to do some work there and IMPACT, but New Japan is his priority.
As far as his now infamous-promo on Tom Lawlor that ended up pretty vulgar, he got in character while describing it, but said he tried to channel emotion from the situation which also involved his family.
