Cedric Alexander got pinned by Dana last week, and by Dominik this week, and I'm genuinely not sure which is more embarrassing.

I have all but quit watching WWE entirely and am just following recaps and SG out of habit and an emotional inability to cut Alex’s rants out of my life. Granted I’m in the middle of a big move, so my life is a little upturned at the moment. Who knows in a few months. But the point about feigning optimism about a product that is still shitty just a different flavor of it, is totally valid. Thankfully AEW has lots of consistently solid content and that’s making this slow breakup easier for me to navigate. I watched &/or distantly followed all wrestling for nearly 40 years and this is the most I’ve been disenfranchised with WWE short of early 90s. Difference now is I have a better understanding of the company and how it conducts its business, which turns me off more.

Free recap shows have to try and retain WWE viewers, which leads to people bending over backwards to justify stuff that’s maddening to hear about. Makes me think less of most of them. So at least I have this to keep me from watching Wrestletalk or Fightful primary and getting so annoyed that I don’t want to watch their other shows I like, either.
