WWE refuses to make compelling babyfaces for their stagnating heel champions to face off against, as evidenced by Charlotte smashing not one, but TWO pies in Toni Storm's face, and the new #1 contender to Roman Reigns being Sami Zayn, whoops just kidding, Brock Lesnar again.
Also the Intercontinental Champion is an afterthought, Naomi vs Sonya is on track to finally pay off some time in late 2024, and the overarching storyline on both brands is that the figureheads in charge are either corrupt or incompetent. Hooray!
