Details On Two AEW Signings, Including One Full-Time Confirmation
Added 2021-10-19 18:32:22 +0000 UTCFightful has reached out about the contract status of AEW stars, one of which was confirmed as much last week.
After All Out, Lee Moriaty was given the option to "sign with AEW" in front of the live crowd, but had yet to receive a "Lee Moriarty is All Elite" graphic until last week. We're told that there wasn't a specific reason given to talent as to why the graphic didn't air six weeks after the Khan/Moriarty segment, but that the deal was full-time already. MLW sources had noted that although Moriarty worked their tapings after the signing, that AEW was very easy to deal with.
In the same vein, Daniel Garcia mentioned that he was "signed" on Evil Uno's vlog, but didn't specify tiered or full-time. Fightful confirmed with AEW sources Garcia is also under a full-time deal, although he has not received a graphic as of yet. Garcia still works a very busy independent schedule. Garcia has already worked over a dozen dates for AEW since August.
Fightful reached out to AEW officials on both situations, but haven't heard back.
