NJPW star tells Fightful he's open to ROH return, despite "weird" exit
Added 2021-10-14 21:23:11 +0000 UTCFightful spoke to Juice Robinson, who opened up about his career, and much more. Although he's enjoying his tag team work with David Finlay, Robinson took the time to challenge Moose personally to a singles match on our show, which you can see above.
Robinson recalled an NXT promo that he cut at Sea World under the CJ Parker character that Dusty Rhodes was said to have loved, but there were issues with common sponsors between WWE and Sea World, and WWE higher ups nixed it. He admitted that the politics associated with WWE helped lead him to going to Japan, and Corey Graves bringing over a copy of Wrestle Kingdom made him think he could fit. Matt Bloom helped him get into Japan after Tiger Hattori got to see him at WrestleMania Axxess.
One of the biggest pieces of news is that Robinson is open to working with ROH again. He was brought into the company a couple of years ago, but quickly departed after what he called "weird" reasons. However, Robinson reiterated to us he's very open to doing work there again.
The full interview drops Friday. You can see Juice this weekend in Philadelphia on NJPW shows, and every Saturday on NJPW Strong
