Shocking name set to be drafted tonight on Raw.

According to talent backstage and internal talk, Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson is supposed to be drafted during the show tonight. We've not been told what brand he'll be drafted to, immediate creative plans, or even if the plans called for him to do anything imminently. We're told to expect the announcement late in the show as several departments had been prepared for the aftermath of announcing the top college star. The name is actually listed on internal documents and draft boards, so unless they're using him as a diversion or placeholder, he's set to be drafted.
Steveson officially signed with WWE less than a month ago, and has never had a pro wrestling match. He's slated to join the WWE roster after his Senior NCAA season ends, but WWE is going above and beyond to have him prepared, we're told.
