Preview of the new program

So, I can't wait before the video release, and I want to share my new program in some form with you.

Please enjoy, it's very fun. You can make moving portals, moving walls, synchronize them to the time. You can make light rays teleport through portals, and visualize how pocket dimension looks like in 2D.

This is very powerful program that I will use in future for all my interactive demos. I even want to build my own shadertoy with interactive interface on top of this one day.

Currently, there are no good error messages (look into browser console to understand why it doesn't work) and no documentation. But it's much easier to figure out than the Portal Explorer.

I want to see what you will build!

And as always, this works from phones.

Currently it opens a scene with a user interface which you can use to play with the 2D portal physics.

I made this demo, but stripped all the critical spoiler components from it. So, it have only things that I have shown before. After the video, I will publish the full program.

Link: https://optozorax.github.io/portal/portal_lab/ (but please don't share this link! because it's only for patrons)

Please join discord if you still haven't. I guess some people will start building scenes in it, and share interesting things.

About the new video: I'm working on it fulltime, it turns out to be very complex. Current version is 36 minutes long. I'm finishing second iteration of the editing, and now preparing to translate script and voiceover to the English. After this I will publish it here and then wait for an ad integration and will be ready to release publicly. It will be my best video so far, it will be about physics, so much more closer to reality than my previous videos.

Comments

I am absolutely shocked by how fast this runs on an iPhone SE (new-ish, but still, lower end).
