Segment Cut From This Week's Smackdown

Fightful has learned that an unadvertised women's tag team match was originally planned for the show but was cut for time. Liv Morgan and Toni Storm were set to take on Carmella and Zelina on the show. We haven't been told if the company plans on running the match any time soon. That segment was cut during the actual show, while a planned segment between Kevin Owens and Happy Corbin was cut from the program this afternoon.

None of those things feel like big losses to me lol. Even though Kevin Owens deserves better and I really wish they would give Liv Morgan a chance

2021-09-12 13:57:07 +0000 UTCRoman Reigns didn't start speaking on last night's Smackdown until 10 minutes into the show. There is no reason why his entrance needs to be 6 minutes long. Start the show with him already in the ring. Keep Edge's entrance before the commercial (like they had it) but have Seth already in the ring when you come back from break. WWE feels so slow when you're watching it live. If you know you're going to be short on time (which they did since they'd already cut a Corbin/KO segment earlier in the day), there are small production changes you can make that will help keep you on time.

They didn’t cut it at 5;00 in the afternoon because they just said fuck it we don’t wanna do it. If you’re gonna blame anybody, blame some of the long segments or matches. If I was a betting man, my money would be on Edge and Rollins. People try and blame WWE for everything when it was literally out of their control based on the time in the show.
