Backstage reaction to Bianca Belair's loss to Becky Lynch

Fightful spoke with talent backstage and said that Bianca Belair appeared to be in good spirits after the match despite the online backlash regarding the match. WWE officials applauded Belair's attitude, and noted that she quickly got ready to attend WWE's red carpet after party and participated in media after her loss with a smile on her face.
The reactions we gained from talent and staff we spoke to were somehow mixed with genuine shock, to not being surprised. Bianca Belair is widely known as a professional, who makes the best out of every situation she's put in creatively. Another source we spoke to said they believe there is an actual plan in motion for this story.

2021-08-28 02:01:37 +0000 UTCOne of the biggest problems I had with it was that she wasn't even kayfabe mad that Lynch beat her in 20 seconds. She juat had this look of "Oh, you little devil. You got me good." She should have been irate if someone who wasn't her original opponent comes in, cheapshots her and takes her title in under a minute.

She comes from an athletic background where you do what you're told, no questions asked. She's also fairly new to the game. At this point everything is a first, plus I'm sure she's getting paid very well. She may not look at things the same way a crazy fan like I would.

Her getting "screwed over" only helped her get even more over as a face and pushing Becky into heel territory. Let's be honest - as both baby faces Bianca wasn't going to get over Becky .. I love them both and think this whole storyline is being very well played so far. I don't get why Bianca's spirits would be down after losing the match when it was predetermined lol ... again love them both and looking forward to seeing where it goes
