In The Bin: WWE Sends Trash Bags To Talent, Makes Big Mistakes
Added 2021-04-23 01:07:21 +0000 UTCIn response to Mickie James putting WWE on blast about returning her items in a trash bag following her release, WWE had Triple H, Johnny Ace, and Stephanie McMahon tweet that the person responsible was fired. Fightful has learned that Johnny Ace has been calling up several of the released stars to apologize to them personally, as this happened with more than one. From what we understand the finger was being pointed at Mark Carrano during some of the calls. Other calls were a simple apology.
WWE usually does return items, though we've been told in the past they'd return them in a box, and a varying slew of people would be tasked with gathering them. We've been told of multiple instances this tear that members of the active roster accidentally had their items sent to one of the released talent and had to arrange to have it sent back.
Nicole Zeoli, John Cone and Dan Engler were all removed from their talent relations spots this week, but those calls happened on Tuesday, we're told.
A WWE source said that immediately upon learning of this, they wanted to make sure to respond quickly and make it a priority. The source said they were embarrassed that this happened, and wanted to rectify it as fast as possible.

2021-04-23 01:53:01 +0000 UTCThat’s good. What happened to Mickie was disgusting. Nobody deserves that but I was surprised but relieved that Triple H and Johnny went public with this and rectified the situation. It should’ve never happened but at least it didn’t go unnoticed
