News On Andrade's WWE Release
Added 2021-03-22 04:18:17 +0000 UTCFightful has learned more about the release of Andrade. Sources that we spoke to were surprised to hear of the release, as they were told early last week the release was not expected to be "immediately granted," and spoke of a change of heart over the past week. If there is a 90-day non-compete clause attached to the deal for select promotions, it would up the weekend of June 20 this year. Andrade will be able to continue to use the "Andrade" name, but not the extension of "Cien Almas" that he used in NXT
Note: updated to reflect the no compete clause info

Does Andrade have a 90-day no compete clause? Or did he somehow manage to get his release without having that constraint?

2021-03-22 18:04:12 +0000 UTCme too. WWE doesn't usually just release people who ask for it so I feel like something's up.

2021-03-22 13:00:04 +0000 UTCIf Andrade doesn’t show up in ROH and NJPW. what a missed opportunity that would be! To reunite with Rush and then potentially have a LaFaccion Ingobernables vs LIJ down the road.....would be so awesome!

2021-03-22 04:49:06 +0000 UTCDo you think it's possible that Charlotte told them "you either release him or I'm not showing up for Wrestlemania"? Conspiracy theory, I know, but Charlotte first disappears from the WM poster and 3 days later Andrade is released after not getting his release at first.
