Added 2021-02-19 18:00:04 +0000 UTCGYV have impressed many within NXT, but that's nothing new. They made it to the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic each of the past two years. In asking around, Fightful was told that originally, the Grizzled Young Vets were penciled in to win last year's tournament. The Broserweight combo of Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle took off, and plans changed accordingly.

Having had the pleasure of seeing them on the UK circuit during the boom and then training under them it’s not surprising that they have taken off. Zack is incredible on the mic.
