WWE Plans To Change WrestleMania Date This Year
Added 2021-01-15 15:51:47 +0000 UTCEverything is still subject to change considering the nature of the world, but Fightful has learned that internally, the plan is for WrestleMania to occur on April 11, 2021, two weeks after the original date of March 27. Obviously the event will not be taking place in Los Angeles as planned, but if that date holds up, it wouldn't be taking place at either Tropicana Field or Amway either, as the Tampa Bay Rays and Orlando Magic respectively will be using those venues. We have not heard of a location for the event as of now, but WrestleMania 36's original location, Raymond James Stadium, does not have events scheduled for it that weekend as of now, and is in Tampa.
This isn't the only PPV that has been moved back, as Royal Rumble is taking place one week after its intended date.
We've reached out to WWE on the matter. As you know, things can change, especially in this environment, but as of now internal calendars list April 11.
