Moxley's AEW Title Reign Has Support Of Frienemy
Added 2020-10-27 23:00:00 +0000 UTCJake Hager talked to me about his match with Jon Moxley, saying that it was a stress relieving experience and that they didn't call much if anything it that match. Moxley had been training MMA to prepare for a movie role and felt comfortable, and had told me Hager was one of the physically strongest people he's ever wrestled. Hager is very happy with Moxley as a champion, and doesn't think that he should be dropping the title any time soon.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him drop it to kingston but i feel like they're really gonna build to mox/omega and revisit that feud with an edgier kenny.

But then again AEW loving to swerve there fans (not in a bad way). I could see them putting it on Kingston. Also I love AEW wrestlers never being kayfabe "Killing The Business"!

2020-10-28 03:07:53 +0000 UTCHonestly, given how much they're protecting Mox with his undefeated streak and having him not drop it to either MJF or even Archer, it'll probably be a big deal to see who wins the belt from him. Personally, I want Kingston to win it. Guy's been overlooked by big leagues so hard that he was barely a factor during his time in iMPACT, to the point that his 2nd run was just as a manager. The guy's been through so much that he deserves better than that. Ntm his theme song fits so freaking well with him, his character, and his journey in pro wrestling, imho.
