Gameplay Update #13: Money Bar Update

Hey everyone! 

Here's a little update with particle effects and the bar. We're still playing around with it, but we're planning on adding gravity physics to the particles to determine the "health" of the money bar! For example, the lower your budget, the particles will droop downwards. 

Once we update the appearance of the ship, we will post a demo and launch Kickstarter shortly after!

Ya, I figured this one was too small to have the rooms we've seen. And yeah a timed mission felt like a natural way to up the difficult and they can be used to drive story too. But I thought about it because I recently encountered a case where unsynched music, alarm sound and HP gauge shaking (it was basically a poison-gas-filling-the-room type of scenario) put me in more panic than usual. Like, the power of extra chaos.

We are planning on having one of the future stages to be timed! The money bar particle pulses does not indicate the time remaining, but how much money is left. To answer your other question, you can think of the ship as a work vessel! The Star Sphere is a base where Arie can return to after her missions to customize her outfits, ships, etc.

Particles flying off more frequently like this does make it feel more urgent. Are the missions timed (or even just an optional timed mode?) Also, I know this is unrelated but I always wondered this... is her ship here like just a little work vessel and it docs with some bigger ship that's owned by her or a company or whatever?
