Take a pro-active approach & carefully craft how I present myself to the general public online. Control the narrative. Don’t let people draw their own conclusions about me from random postings. People google you to get an idea of who you are. 2. Have an online presence. Be intentional. Clean up EVERYTHING what you already have. Memes and repostings need to be cleaned up. Make it more presentable. Don’t post when going through something. Post what I am doing to be more awesome. 3. Pick your social media. No need Do not be on every platform. Does it add to my value or my brand? Social media is not private. Who are your friends that everyone can see? FB is used for marketing and to participate in his private FB group. AD checks out clubhouse - lurks. AD is not following his mother on IG. 4. Get a custom, professional website for me not for my business. I am my own brand first. Get a super-duper dope website resume opens up many possibilities: curate email lists. Put out things and cross promote. Upload resume. Show you stand out from the rest of the people. Create videos to explain who you are. Everything I do and have is based off some other platform where someone else is controlling the narrative. 5. Get on LinkedIN with a professional photo: curate and participate on that for promotions and to align with a desired network. Download Linkedin app and get the notifications. Curate Linkedin the way you curate FB and IG. Opportunities and sponsorship come from Linkedin. Professional photo. 6. Curate who you follow and use social media more effectively. Go back and erase all comments. Everything matters. Everything is traceable. It will take a long time. Curate so algorithms that show a certain thing. AD does not follow his mother on FB. 7. Don’t be too polished and be likable. Look immaculate. 8. Leverage / parlay what I have created into bigger and better opportunities. Make sure all content is congruent. Separate yourself. Build a network. Bigger and better profile. Market yourself professionally, Continue to present yourself in a positive way. Use SM to change the trajectory of our lives / careers /entrepreneurship. Be intentional about what I am presenting to the world or miss out on opportunities and not even know it.

Notice how whenever a Black person is killed by police or some other tragedy (shooting or whatever or comes up missing) and attention is given to this person through news media. How often do we see terrible, menacing pictures used or ones that Racists use to dehumanize us or make us less sympathetic figures? Where do they get these photos from? We have to intentionally CURATE our images and lives if we are going to put anything online. Also you never know when you will die. Consider what you want to be left behind in memory of you. What you put on social media is what you will be known for by the public forever.

If someone can't google you or find you on social media, it sends up red flags. Being obscure sounds cool until you start missing bags/ networking opportunities. #thanksanton
