SNEAK PEEK - Portrait studies of elderly people 👵🏽👴🏾 + Update 📝

Hi Everyone!

Today I’d like to share with you the studies I made yesterday in a train 🚆 I went to Warsaw to meet with people from Patreon and other Polish Creators. We had a brunch together and talked about our passions 🥰 People do so many creative and amazing stuff, not necessarily related to drawing! There was one person, who writes and directs the audio fantasy dramas about queer pirates! 🏴‍☠️ How cool is that! Someone else made their own comic books or tutorials about programming in gaming industry 🤖 I love when people talk about their passions 😌 It makes me so happy to see they make their dreams come true.

I also talked about my art and about you! How supportive you are no matter what I currently do, and how good I feel in my community of Potatoes 🤓🧡

I was also happy to talk with Eva and Mike from Patreon (their office is in Berlin and the head quarte of Patreon is in US). I complained a bit about the features of Patreon and having hard time organizing the content here. They said that this points are at the top of their list and they will keep me updated about the improvements. I’d love to be able to organize tutorials in folders or in a grid. It would be much more logical than the wall you need to endlessly scroll 🫠

These two portraits will be a part of the series I wanna create to show different stages of life - from a newborn till a very old person. They will be all in frontal view and in the same position in my sketchbook because I’d love to show them as short animation 🎞 I hope it will work as I imagined 🤞 If you’d like to join me, here’s the board on Pinterest with the references prepared for this challenge: link 📌 I won’t use all but probably most of them 😉
