100 HEADS CHALLENGE: 40-55 π

Iβm continuing the 100 Heads Challenge ππΌ
ITβS DIFFICULT BECAUSE:
π Iβm not happy with about half of these sketches
π Iβm trying to be much faster (about 10-15 min per sketch)
π Iβm using many various media, not just a pencil
π Iβm experimenting a lot to feel more comfortable with unusual colors so the spread isnβt very harmonious
π Iβm experimenting with stylization of the faces which I find difficult in traditional art
π The paper of this sketchbook has a blue tinge which makes it difficult to take good photos
ITβS FUN BECAUSE:
π I love some of these sketches - especially 48 and 54
π Iβm really getting faster and feel that Iβm learning a lot
π Iβm proud of myself because I keep trying despite some failures (so itβs still a success)
π I bought some new, amazing media: Holbein pastel colored pencils, tiny synthetic squirrel brush from Roman Szmal and Ecoline - liquid watercolors
π I feel such an artistic freedom to just sit and have fun like a toddler with crayons and a white wall
π I feel that Iβm finding my favorite color palettes here
