A quick update on upcoming videos

Hope you’re all well and playing better video games than I often do lol,
Just a quick post here keeping you in the loop of what’s been going on over here in minimme land.
At the moment one of my video goals is to make them a bit longer and more in-depth. Earlier this year I released one of my longest ever videos on 007 Legends, and reviewing how that video turned out as well as listening to feedback, people seem to be enjoying the somewhat more long-form essays from me.
Thinking of my own video watching/listening habits over the years I find myself preferring longer and more granular videos too now, so hey, my philosophy with YouTube has always been to “make videos I’d want to watch” and at the moment I’d like to watch, and therefore make, some longer and more thoughtful videos.
As such it’s been a bit quieter here these past few weeks as I have a few bigger in scope videos on the way, but they’ll be out sooner rather than later. Catching some sort of flu and making some big real life decisions have slowed the process a little further too.
Here’s what’s on the way in the short term and where I’m to with them:
Tomorrow Never Dies PS1 - This is completely scripted and ready to record, it was delayed by losing my voice but should be out within the week! I chatted to multiple developers on this game about what it was like working on the follow-up to Goldeneye, and it includes clips from my interview with the game’s lead designer Will Botti. The video reveals lots of new info about the game which is always exciting, and it’ll kick off my run through of the Brosnan 007 games now that I’m done with Craig.
Watch_Dogs - This is a funny one, I didn’t really expect to do a video on it but I had a weird itch to play it recently and found myself enjoying the game way more than I expected to. If you give the game a try on “Realistic” difficulty, try and vibe with it - it reveals itself to have some wonderful emergent gameplay stuff going on + cool vibey moody moments. It’s a blast to write about, and you can feel the ‘Driver’ DNA in the game as it started as a Driver game. Hey this kind of works as a pseudo follow-up to my Driver videos. Script is almost finished.
Enter the Matrix - Just started the script for this, talk about overambitious! This game was one of the highest budget games of its time and it was also a complete trashy mess. Part of me loves it, part of me hates it, it’s the perfect minimme game!
Keen to get these videos done, thank you as always to everyone here :) New Q&A vid soon too.
Cheers,
Peter

I just beaten this game on PS4 3 months ago and I loved it. I really don't understand the complaints people have with this game. It's one of those games whose negativity has been way overstated, to the point of being blown out of proportion. And you're about the "Realistic" difficulty, it should've been the only the only difficulty put in.
