I was doing some reading on old 3D FPS games for a game dev project, and stumbled across them again while looking for footage on youtube. Your videos were clearly better than most - you got good footage of the game, recapped some highlights and actually gave a sense of what the game was like, and not just some bullet points from the back of the box. You'd be surprised how many people had put out videos that don't even try to do that, or make basic mistakes. Plus like you said here, you didn't try and bullshit when you didn't know something, you just had fun with it, which is definitely the best approach.
