2017 Update

First of all, sorry for being a bit late with this, but... I just want wish you all a happy new year! I also want to thank you all so much for joining up and wanting to support me here!! You have no idea how much it actually means to me! :D

Despite 2016 not being the best year for everyone, it was the best year the channel has ever seen, so... Hooray! :D
I made more remixes than ever before, and finally got around to getting both old and new remixes properly licensed and published as well. The channel has seen an amazing growth, with the YouTube channel getting more than 5000 new subscribers, going from from 1500 subscribers to almost 7000 in a year!

Next Remix
The way things are looking now, Super Mario World's Overworld theme looks like it's going to be the first remix of 2017. I still have a lot of work to do before it's finished though, so it might not be done before the last couple of weeks of January.

Challenges in 2017
As some of you may or may not know I’ve been working on a master’s degree for the past year and a half now, and this spring I’ll be writing my thesis. While I managed to juggle school and keep up the tempo with 2 uploads a month this fall, I don’t know if I’ll be able to do that while also working on the thesis. I’ll do everything in my power to make sure that there’s at least one upload per month though!

Some info about Licensing
So Loudr, the site where I get all the remixes licensed, has gone through some changes lately, and due to these changes I haven’t been able to submit any songs to licensing or publishing since Outset Island. I’ve just now gotten access to the updated service, and I should soon be back to releasing music as before :D
