Quick update!

WORK

I'm done work!

Bad news, a week and a half before I was done I rolled my ankle at work. Almost 2.5 weeks later its still bruised but I'm no longer walking with a cane. Nothing broken.. which I told them that when it happened but what ligament I might have had left.. I'm sure is gone. In all my years of rolling it, its never been bruised this badly for this long. When they drove me to urgent care my ankle was 2.5 inches larger than my other one, due to the swelling. 

It does suck cause I had a couple week job offer but I had to turn it now cause my physical therapist feels being on my feet for 10+ hours a day might make it worse. I HATE turning down work cause never know when the next show will be, and in my industry its a good way to make a new connection cause its ALL word of mouth, but between the long hours and 2 hours driving a day.. my ankle would have been wrecked. Even now it hurts with the minimal walking/driving/sewing I'm doing.

I hope to be recovered when/if another fulltime job shows up. Being off work just reminds me how much I hate the hustle, and hedging your bet.. hoping one lead might work out but not trying to burn a bridge with your other connections if you end up turning them down.

POSTCARDS


 I want to try to have it done for New Zealand but it might be a dragoncon thing. Anyone here going to Australia or NZ conventions? Love any feed back.. I'm almost tempted to now bring prints and a handful of small free post cards. More room for costumes that way.. 

I mean even those NOT at those conventions how do you feel about that, Small free limited post cards or the large oversized prints. Don't say both cause I have WAY to many large prints to even guess which ones to bring so I end up bringing all of them haha and its heavyyyyyy.


FRANKLIN


I have a new man in my Life, Franklin. I told you about him before. He has a messed up Grill, will clean his junk in public, Throws food on the floor he doesn't like, and will poop on me.

Its the squirrel. 

Been trying to spend time with him since he is now a family member and all things considered he is very sweet, and sometimes if I play final fantasy music he will mellow out and let me give him scratches on my knee. Today he has definitely tried to destroy some of my collectibles. But he is a wild animal forced to be inside and I'm a geek girl with a large (breakable) collectibles collection. Not like there is a rule book on how to co exist with a wild squirrel. 

Ok a lot of rambling.. time to ice my foot and maybe work on honkai star rail.
