Video Issues! Please Read
Added 2022-02-17 20:40:16 +0000 UTCI'm having some issue with vimeo right now where the videos aren't playing and I working with them to fix it! So please give me a bit of time to figure this out and hopefully we will be good soon.
Since we are on the topic, I have actually been working on a site of my own that will be coming out very soon. So I wont need the hosting site as much and wouldn't have to deal with issues like this, lol!

It would be great to piggy back of someone how has the architecture set up that you could utilize. You could be then able to provide whatever content you wanted to your subscribers. Wish you well can’t wait to see where you end up.

2022-02-17 21:10:24 +0000 UTCI used to work at a University that had some courses with online classes, at some point we changed from our self hosted solution (using AWS) to Vimeo (and a fallback provider), and it worked for a long time, but at some point Vimeo changed his license, and shutdown the video playback from some of our videos, asking us to upgrade our plan, the reasoning being that as most of our videos were behind a paywall (only enrolled students could watch them), we could not use that plan anymore, and should be in contact with their sales team. At the end we end up hosting with another provider, that had more expertise delivering online video for online classes. That being said, I believe that besides a technical problem, you could be having another problem with vimeo that would be nice to check it up. Also, self hosting videos isn’t cheap, I believe that at some time when we were using Amazon S3 for video delivery, about 95% of our bill on AWS was from videos on S3. It was really expensive, that’s why we changed to Vimeo.
