Another Overdue Update!
Added 2024-11-24 17:32:45 +0000 UTCHey everyone,
It’s been a while (again), but there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.
Next video: We’re in the final stages of production on what will be our longest video ever. Although we have plenty of animations and drawings we could preview already, we’re going to keep this one under wraps until the release. Unfortunately, we’ve noticed a trend where some content mill-style channels try to jump on our topics before we can get them out. What I can say is it flies, it’s big and it’s got a killer story arc (i.e. along the lines of our Nautilus video).
New Nebula series incoming: We’re gearing up to test run a new series on Nebula, and it’ll officially be announced alongside our next video. The first video will cover a specific event in history - one of the most daring operations in the history of fighter aircraft.
Reinvesting in the channel: We’re now fully migrated to Unreal Engine for all our animations and visuals, we’ve also purchased some new hardware to handle complex 3D animations. These upgrades will mean more dynamic (cinematic) animations, and a faster workflow. You’ll hopefully start to see the difference in our next video.
Your support: We’re considering switching to a Monthly Patreon model, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. Currently, we only charge when we release a YouTube video, but we think a monthly model might make more sense. Our focus has always been on creating high-quality, thoroughly researched, and visually stunning content. A monthly model would better reflect the ongoing time, energy, and resources we pour into every project - even during months when no new video is released. This approach is also common among creators we admire, like Lemmino.
Once again, thanks so much for your support, and we’re looking forward to dropping the next video.
What do you think?

Not so interested in merch as regular updates - perhaps behind the scenes on past releases, to avoid tipping off the competition

2024-11-27 11:13:02 +0000 UTCI honestly believe that I monthly release schedule would better suit your creative process and give you a better opportunity to more focus on any specific details of a video you want to put out. Either way whether you change the release format or not I will still look forward to whenever your videos are released.

2024-11-24 20:30:09 +0000 UTCWe love your high quality works, especially with current YouTube your content is a breath of fresh air always. Also whenever possible I’d love to see a video on the A-90 Orlyonok someday.

2024-11-24 20:02:02 +0000 UTCI guess I already assumed we were monthly! Super excited about this mystery series. Every video is awesome so a series would be super cool! Would love to get more hd title cards or still images as they are available though. A lot of the vehicles there just isn’t any high quality footage of so these unreal engine stills are just a game changer! Thanks for making awesome stuff!!

2024-11-24 19:35:03 +0000 UTCThe monthly model is specifically to avoid that - per creation billing means you have to release a video every X days to pay rent, buy food etc. If you're not keeping up, that means shifting to make more videos with less effort in each one. Monthly billing means bigger, better videos.

2024-11-24 19:22:43 +0000 UTCWholeheartedly agree with Robert, but I also hope that you won't feel that a monthly subscription would pressure you to put out subpar stuff. You deserve the financial stability from your amazing work.

2024-11-24 18:01:56 +0000 UTCYou are a person and creativity doesn’t pay the bills on a consistent schedule From my perspective, your work is worth a little more consistency - keep making wonderful stuff 😁
