Slipping Away Tour '25 & "Dad Of The Year" Video!

I'm releasing the latest video for Dad of The Year, the new single from Slipping Away... I am always resistant and frustrated to do music videos, mostly because there's never enough money to do something really cool and I'd rather you just drive around and listen to the song than watch something... BUT I happened to be in Florida a few months ago and it just seemed too RIGHT to not do something with my old man for this song. He was willing and able and Marilyn agreed to shoot it, but it quickly got annoying for everyone involved... I think my dad didn't realized how much thought and work goes into the seemingly simple act of shooting something... Eye lines, continuity, the list... all that shit. "we have to do it again??"
Anyway, I'm happy with how it came out for a little no budge iphone deal... ENJOY! It's unlisted and technically not out until monday, so don't share it yet ok?
Perhaps more importantly:
On Monday, we're also announcing the official Slipping Away Tour! Hitting the road, end of January with our friends Neil Hamburger OR DJ Douggpound as support (depending on where you live) and a few cities are getting a very special secret guest that i'm not allowed to share with you yet but will be a fun addition.
I'm leaving my leather jacket and green shirt at home but as everyone who's been to a Very Good Band show there's not shortage of laughs throughout our set. I'm so excited to stretch out and play some of these new tunes, some deep cuts from years past - gonna try for a whole new fresh set list, and switch things up night to night...
There will be an Artist Presale: Wednesday, September 18 at 10am - and the password will be SLIPPING
VIP tickets will include a signed CD and a meet and greet photo opportunity which will also include kind of a loose Q&A as the line moves along. We did it this way for TimFest and it was pretty fun and a little more informal than the past Q&As. Plus you'll get early venue access to get the best spots in the room.
