Doug’s Tour Diary Day 6: St. Paul

We flew from Chicago due to the too long of a drive. Luckily, I got to fly with Eric a little later than the rest of the crew. St. Paul is beautiful y'all. I thought I was in Europe or something. This picture doesn't do it justice but it's all I've got.

I wanted to eat at an establishment that had more than just one vegan option, so Eric and I dined at a highly rated Ethiopian joint. Our Uber driver was Ethiopian and said there was an even better spot in town but we stayed the course. I've never loved this cuisine before but holy lentils, I'm way into it now. They had an all veggie buffet, yes I went back for seconds.

The local celebrity on the show was Fancy Ray. Wow this guy has mega charisma and was the perfect guest, he even interviewed Tim and Eric once!

As for me... I had a great set, the crowd was ready for jokes and I felt very comfortable and had fun up there. I also got an extended laugh on a really old, very corny "filler" joke. It's weird when that happens!

After the show, I helped the boys pack up and checked into my Doubletree. Did I accept the warm cookie they offered me? Yes. I ate two in fact. Excited to be home now, cannot wait to rejoin the Trinity. See ya Thursday! (Off to Texas on Sunday).
