I spy Oriels Ballpark dead ahead.

Is Baltimore the Northeast? MidAtlantic??? The end of the south or the beginning of the North. These roads sure feel the start of it. About to enter MY part of the country - Overpopulated, old, dying infrastructure... pothole... poorly maintained highways. Honestly don't think i've ever been to Baltimore! I'll try and get some crabs!

Speaking of crumbling infrastructure, our bus is making a creaking sound, like 4 ferrets fighting loudly right above my head (not in my bunk, but in the front area where I'm sitting now. It's nearly intolerable and is piercing my skull.

Richmond was fantastic last night. Nice big green room, with a piano, pool table... a SAUNA.... Laundry. I'm fully laundered now.

Good crowd, and great to be back at it. The sound on stage was dog shit, but apparently not too bad in the room. I dropped a lyric or two, at one point being distracted by a group doing a selfie, Lambert style near the front. Of course, it was Vic's birthday, so we had a cake celebration and the crowd was very, very on board.

Our old sound guy Matt said more or less this about tour: Everywhere you are at all times, you've never been before, which is great and terrifying all at once.... this means, you're constantly making micro decisions and where things are, how you should move and just try to not get hurt. I've never been in THIS room before, so my body doesn't know to step over that little lip going into the next room, therefore that toe is gettin' stubbed. This shower - how do I stand so I don't slam my elbows into the tiles? Does this get me hot water? Where is my sweatshirt? I just had it. There's a macro routine happening every day, a Groundhog's Day of arrival, free time, loading in, sound-checking, dinner, the show, the load out the wind down... and then then the micro chaos of new environments.

VIc's out scouting bathrooms. I can tell we're in a part of town that don't take kindly to public restroom access... CVS, where are you???
