The Kids Are Alright!

Good morning everyone!

I hope you are doing ok! I just had a couple of fun (as fun as you can have) days on a commercial shoot with Eric. We had a lot of laughs (none having to do with the actual content of the commercial. We got into some hysterical nonsense about arranging all sorts of food trucks, fireworks and other celebratory nonsense for when we wrap. Our producer is German and we have a years long tradition of speaking in "Zwei Dunkel Jungen" style broken German with him and it's really funny. It's how we pass the time while the agency and client are discussing the exact placement of an old pillow in the deep background.

I am endlessly fascinated by the whole thing. I am not delusional to think that everyone knows who I am. But it's so interesting that people lack the curiosity to try and understand something before making a declarative negative PUBLIC statement about something! I've been in comedy for almost 20 years now... I have a fairly long and well documented trail of breadcrumbs if you're interested. anyhow... it's just interesting and I really wanna have a convention where all these people assemble and I can talk to them in person. Until then i'll try to keep track of the most amusing ones HERE

In BETTER news! We took a gamble on the new Kids In The Hall last night and episode one was FANTASTIC! It was strange, darkly funny, well written, looked great and definitely felt great to have them back. Only groan was the crammed in Pete Davidson moment - Get the fuck outta there Pete!!!

The other '90s reboot of another canadian comedy institution did not.... wait hold on, I was about to dunk of Mister Meyer's latest show but then I started to sound like one of those tweets I made into a slideshow! Who cares what I think!
