To those who missed the premiere and the fun hang last night, I hope you'll be able to catch up soon. The movie came out great! (I can say that without boasting because i stopped giving notes months ago!)  I'm enjoying a nice cup of coffee while my wife sleeps in and my kids play some Roblox (a Sunday morning allowance) and listening to a really beautiful record from last year: https://aroojaftab.bandcamp.com/ 

So... what do you folks think of the whole pulling out of Spotify thing. I have long been pretty anti-Spotify just for the way they treat artists in general and the gobs of money they pay Rogan... but I understand that people have just gotten so used to it that it's hard to think about giving it up. But is it? I think I'm pulling my music from it. who cares? Matt says about 20 percent of our listeners listen on spotify and would we LOSE them if we pulled the podcast? we don't really make that much money from Spotify (we run the same dumb ad over and over,  so if anything we're a net loss from them, those suckers) / And why should we? I think it comes down to personal choice and my uncomfortableness in continuing to support them as a company, when there's just other choices out there that aren't as bad? I mean you could easily make the case to me how Apple (as a company not a fruit)  is worse in many ways... so... yea... I wouldn't frame it as an ultimatum and I certainly don't blame any artist who is fine just keeping everything where it is....   I'm not for "cancelling" Joe Rogan and am well aware that he can do whatever the fuck he wants and a private company can as well, I guess as long as they abide to the laws of the land. kinda that simple?  but I also have a choice to do business with who i want to do business with, and I don't really wanna do biz with them! ok, solved it. thanks! but no, please let me know what you think, and if it would really bother you if we pulled the podcast from spotify.  don't you all just listen here or  watch on youtube (another wonderful company) anyway?  

Have a great sunday - btw last sunday I watched football all day and as shiiiiiiittttyyyy as THAT sport is, I have to say it drew me in and was fun and exciting (they were two HISTORICALLY good games) and so I will watch again today and root for the Rams as I live in the Los Angeles area but if the Eagles were playing I would root for them ok? )
