It was GREAT to be back with you all on Thursday. Lots of fun, my friends. I was a little salty i guess, getting back into the drop zone and coming down hard on the dude with the dreams. I checked out the youtube comments and it's really funny how people over react to shit... BAD TAKE ON BRITTANY TIM> YOU DON"T UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT OF THE SAM SEDER CROWDER THING ACTUALLY WHAT HE"S DOING IS IMPORTANT> jesus, chill out. I don't really care all that much about any of it, so i'm just kinda chewing the fat with the boys. I think the Brittany thing was me just goofing on how nice it'd be to have someone run your life (now i know there'd be a downside and i don't actually really want that!) In my old age, i'm just losing interest in caring about the cause de jour, and getting all whipped up to have the right take on every single little thing, especially when it's tied up in celebrity culture, because a lot of the time it just feels like it boils down to plain old, gossip. yuck.

Anyway, it's weird being back i guess. Often life presents us with these moments: something you look forward to, then you experience it, and then... it's over... what was that? how do I hold on to that? there's a sadness in having a great experience, don't you think? that swim I took in the Mediterranean, or that impression I did that knocked the whole group down. Just a memory now. Dylan has a great line in the song "Mississippi" You can always come back, but you can't come back all the way

I'll go back to Italy, and I'll see these people again... I"ll make a point to, but there's no way to have THOSE moments again. We were talking about this very thing on one of our last nights, and I said "well at least this experience was so nice that when another experience presents itself you can look forward to it, knowing how good it can potentially be."

Hey, it looks like we have Fred coming in on Monday so he can make fun of me for having all these feels. :)
