CLANK

Well helllooo. 

It's my last day up here in a Haunted Hotel  just across the bay from San Francisco!  I haven't seen any ghosts, but it's an old hotel and I've lost hours of sleep due to random pipes knocking and creaks in the walls. Any light sleepers out there? These pipe knocks are so annoying. I'm lying in bed, just about to drift off, when... CLANK. I wake up... and wait for the next CLANK.  

Anyway....  Thanks so much for all the birthday love! I don't know if it was the show you were expecting or hoping for (i saw some complaining on the youtube comments) but it sure was fun for me, and so what, it's one show!  

I may (and you may) groan about doing commercial work, but this week has been pretty fun.  I love our little commercial crew that we work with and I sit next to Eric all day and half the time (maybe more) we just laugh and come up with songs and dumb stuff... for instance: We were shooting a scene with a dog in it and I told Eric, we should tell the actor in the scene that because of Covid, we can't use a dog, so it's actually a little man in a dog costume but the dog costume is so realistic you won't even be able to tell the difference.  Of course we didn't actually tell the actor that but just the thought of it threw us both into a cry/laughing fit... I couldn't breathe.   It's also fun to just make stuff and figure it out, even with masks and social distancing on set it was really great to be active and collaborative in the outside world again.  It was a taste of normal and ooh was it a nice taste. 

Tomorrow, I take the early flight back down to the compound so I can hang with Doug, Vic Matt and you guys!  Super Bowl Party baby!!!  i have no idea what we're gonna do yet but I'm sure there will be snacks, and I can't wait to see you all pop up in the zoom.  Which reminds me... have you seen this?????
