Honestly, the biggest knock against this is that Gamera might not quite be weird ENOUGH. He'd need some gnarly scars and garish facepaint lines to truly have that Digimon vibe. Now, GUIRON? Yeah, the giant knive monster with ninja stars in his head can be a Digimon right out of the box.
Also, yes. I absolutely drew Gorgo in the same frame as Godzilla and Gamera. I apologize for nothing.
