...and yeah, I know it's not actually that uncommon of a LAST name (hey Alan, hi Cheryl, what's up Alan Jr.) but I've sure as heck never heard it used as a FIRST name anywhere outside of Baccano. But hey, I guess it sounds normal to the same ears that think naming a guy "Hot Tub Squirt" is totally unremarkable.
...also, just in case anyone was wondering: as far as I know, I'm not related to any of those more famous "Ladds" mentioned above. Lord knows we weren't in any wills.
