Added 2024-08-31 20:10:32 +0000 UTCI'VE LITERALLY NEVER EVEN PLAYED AMONG US, I'VE JUST BEEN ON THE INTERNET SO LONG THAT THE MEMES HAVE PERMEATED MY BRAIN JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE'S.
But yeah, the firs time I watched this, I originally thought I'd just seen too much anime when I saw the whole "counterfeiting operation under a church" thing and immediately thought of The Castle of Cagliostro... but they they started throwing all the OTHER movie references at me, and I realized there was no reason NOT to think it was on purpose... and then I watched it AGAIN and could only think of memes.
And if you somehow still want to see more comics from me after THAT, don't forget that there's still a vote on to pick what my NEXT Weekly Anime Comic will be! I need at least one more patron to weigh in and be a tie-breaker, so even if you don't actually care what the next anime is, I still could use more feedback, just to ensure the decision-making process keeps going!
